2022 and the Fuel Shortage
The diesel fuel shortage has hit many hard no matter what industry you are in whether it is farming, auto, or trucking this has devastated and affected so many in the times we live. The cost of getting fuel has been on the rise for quite some time since 2021 this not only affects the cost of fueling the vehicles that we drive but in turn the cost of the products and services we purchase daily.
When the cost of fuel increase by just a few percentage points that cost will be passed down to the consumer through the cost of the goods because of the cost associated with making the product and shipping the products. The service industry sees this as well like the hot shot industry that picks up the products from the producer and takes the products to the end users or other production companies or places of business each person uses diesel to run their business in their trucks and farmers use the diesel for their farming equipment from their combines, tractors, cotton pickers, to irrigation and more.
The cost of production has skyrocketed because of the shortage of many basic things that most have taken for granted whether it is a man-made shortage or a natural shortage is irrelevant at this time but with everyone seeing that cost of diesel keeps growing the cost of products and services will go in have direct as well.
